There is no escaping the Alfa Romeo Giulietta…… I was taking a walk this morning (yes sometimes Giulietta stays at home!). I can spot a Giulietta from far off now, the stylish body is unmistakable, and there are a few in my area. Anyway as I was strolling along I spotted  one in the exact same colour as mine, magnesio grey. My interest piqued and my stroll quickened pace as I went straight up to examine my favorite car. I was delighted to realise that the Giulietta is in fact being driven by one of the super GOALies from the charity GOAL.

I spoke to a member of the fundraising team who told me that this is a clever and effective way business’s such a Alfa Romeo can support the charity. It helps because it keeps administration costs within GOAL to a minimum which is of crucial importance to the organisation. By supporting Goal in this way Alfa Romeo Ireland ensure that the money we donate to Goal goes exactly where we intend. I think it is fair to congratulate the team in Alfa Romeo Ireland for supporting such an important cause in a practical, effective way.

Incidentally Karen from the fundraising team told me their next big fundraising endeavour is the ‘Bags for Life’ campaign.  GOAL is giving the women of Ireland the chance to donate unwanted handbags to a good cause. The bags will be sold with all proceeds going to fighting famine. GOAL currently looking for donations of handbags for the events which will be held in Dublin and Galway in September. No doubt Alfa Giulietta will be busy ferrying all the donated bags to the ‘Bags for Life’ event. Stylish bags being driven by the stylish Giulietta….. Get in line ladies!!
