We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in West Cork. I will highlight some of the great days we had with Giulietta as a family of five over the next few blogs. To begin though I thought I would show one of my highlights.

Regular readers of my blog will know that my two year old Thomas is OBSESSED with our Giulietta. He is also a big fan of the beach, throwing stones in the water, paddling and getting up to mischief. So when I told him that we were going in the car (he calls it “the sivler Gileta (sic)car car”) he was over the moon.

After the usual “Where are the bucket and spades, have you got your swimmers, I must pack some sandwiches, oh I forgot the sunscreen” we finally got the trio into Giulietta safely.  As usual the 350 litres of boot space took care of all our beach accoutrements.  Bag of Hula Hoops in hand (we are on our holidays after all) and the boys are chuffed. Then disaster strikes. Little April decides she is hungry and starts screaming….. I had to disembark and go and feed her! The boys waited patiently at first but Thomas is not a man for waiting around when there is a drive to be had, Cars CD to blare and I spy to play on the road etc. Rory tried to pacify him with a bottle while I fed April…. Not to be. He got out of the car had a massive strop and see below for the result…..

He just lay down on the road and fell asleep…..

We did finally get to our destination and our car loving, beach loving little boy was happy!!

More holiday fun to follow……..

Task 2 really got me thinking about driving music and I have so, so many tunes that I LOVE to listen to when I am driving Giulietta. Some just for me, some that the boys also love and headbang along to, and some that Rory,who has a very eclectic taste in music, introduces me to. So I have decided to finish all of my blogs in future with a fantastic, driving tune that makes me extra happy and reminds me of driving Giulietta.
