Goodbye turismo, hello Lusso
Before I start for anybody who doesn’t know Fiat (Alfa Romeo) have moved from their offices just off the M50 to a new location seconds away on the Naas Road!

so let me set the scene
Its last Friday and I am just finished work, back in the country a little over 24 hours and all I want is sleep, but not yet. I must race home and clearout a few empty bottles from my car that I’ve been saving for a little project and give her a splash of water so I can have my Alfa Romeo Giulietta looking beautiful once again! I must add here that, alot like a certain better half, even without her make-up she looks good! (Brownie points)
So I’m on the road now on my way to a 4 month evaluation with the big guys from Alfa Romeo and I could think of a million other places I would rather be. I had planned to be there just on time so I could say a quick hello and then fade into the background. This didn’t go as planned. I, Being a know it all male, Foolishly disregarded the directions that had been kindly sent to me and decided I would get myself there. Little did I know that what I was looking for was not there. Luckily enough I had my phone that could tell me why Fiat had vanished!
After sending a quick SOS I obtained directions from a rather ill-informed hotel employee that led me round the twist. After a few minutes of driving around I finally found what I was looking for!!

So I arrived a bit more than fashionably late but after an apology I sat down with my fellow bloggers and the presentation began. while watching a video we were prompted to turn around, I still haven’t a clue what the question was that we were supposed to look out for, but we were greeted by a bunch of beautiful Giulietta’s! I spotted mine right away!

It took a moment to realize that we had just been upgraded to the Lusso model, the successor to the Turismo.

It was love at first sight, Again! after a quick change-over I said goodbye to my Turismo before I began my journey home in my Lusso!

I was briefed on some of the brilliant features that this model had and I was overjoyed to hear I finally had bluetooth. The blueme is An innovative concept developed by fiat in conjunction with Microsoft which allows you to make calls , play music and navigate with ease.

My Giulietta now comes with a sat nav, dual aircon, cruise control, alarm, automatic rain and light sensors, front and rear fog lights, beautiful interior with new foot mats, embossed headrests and aluminum pedals. There is also a connection for my mp3 in the glove! This is all in addition to the features that the Turismo had. I only look forward to telling you about them more once I explore the new capabilities of Giulietta.
This car is now equipped to deal with my on the go lifestyle, I can take my calls and listen to my music all with out taking my hands off the wheel! when I get lost I can ask her for directions and rest my feet during the long drives with cruise control.
so where to this weekend?
