Economy

so I am about to hit 4k in the next 24 hours and thought id update everyone as to the economy of the Giulietta so far.

I have had the privilege of driving the stunning Alfa Romeo Giulietta for the past 8 weeks or so and have just about clocked up 4000 kilometers. In this time I have covered a lot of roads locally and further from home, I have made it to two corners of the country so far, taking me through ten of Ireland’s beautiful counties along the way, that being Kilmore quay in Co. Wexford and Killarney in Co. Kerry, I guess im due up north soon enough!

I have spent €370 so far on diesel for the Giulietta and this has taken me to just under 4000 kilometres, my estimation is I can get another 70 kilometers before I reach the cursed orange light!

At this distance that puts my usage at roughly 108 kilometers per €10 of diesel used. This compares to the €10 petrol that would take my corolla 70-80 kilometers.

I have being paying roughly €1.47 for my diesel so that would give me an average 6.80 ltrs per 108 kilometers which is brilliant! I’m getting 16km per liter or just over 63 km per gallon. That is quite impressive considering I have not being driving the most economical myself.

My challenge now for the next two months is to drive smoother, work on my acceleration and breaking and see how much more I can get from my beautiful car!

I would definitely recommend looking at the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, This proves your car can be both Beautiful and economical!
